18th Annual Fall Golf Classic Planned for September 2010

The 2010 18th Annual Fall Golf Classic will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Martindale Country Club.

The 2009 17th Annual Fall Golf Classic raised over $90,000 to benefit The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing. Players had the opportunity to shoot for two hole-in-one prizes, a Toyota courtesy of Emerson Toyota and $10,000 cash prize sponsored by Patrons Oxford Insurance Company with a match of $10,000 to benefit The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing.

Central Maine Medical Center’s 17th Annual Fall Golf Classic

Once again, we had a beautiful day for CMMC's Annual Fall Golf Classic held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Martindale Country Club. The golfers enjoyed a competitive game of golf, an expansive Silent Auction and superb food. Players had the opportunity to shoot for two hole-in-one prizes, a Toyota courtesy of Emerson Toyota and $10,000 cash prize sponsored by Patrons Oxford Insurance Company with a match of $10,000 to benefit The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing.

The winners of the day were as follows:
1st Place Gross - Androscoggin Bank 1st Place Net - Sun Journal
2nd Place Gross - H.E. Callahan Construction 2nd Place Net - Ranor, Inc.
3rd Place Gross - Northeast Bank 3rd Place Net - Hebert Construction Corp.

In the Closest-to-the-Pin competition, winners were Sharon Buckley, Patrons Oxford Insurance Company, and Don Flanagan, United Ambulance.

A very special "thank you" to our Tournament Committee, chaired by Ron Peyser. Members are Amy Bilodeau, Nancy Brown, Tony Crawford, Anthony D’Andrea, Steve Myles, Joyce and Norm Richmond. The CMMC Associates provided volunteer support throughout the day, including valet service, registration, competitive games, refreshment stands and spotters. This cadre of dedicated volunteers representing many local businesses are instrumental in creating a very special day for our guests.
